Three months after a failed mission in South America, Kat suffers amnesia and is desperate to recover her old self. She needs her best friend Skye—though "presumed dead"—to undo the past, and she joins her broken superhero team in search for her.
Except Skye doesn't want to be found. She hides in the Amazon Rainforest as the only one knowing the mission's uncovered secrets sought by an anti-Super criminal organization. And she aims to remain their primary target to keep her found family safe.
But when Skye's location gets leaked, conspiracy unravels. The hunt for a lost friend becomes a global adventure to recover history's best-kept secret: an ancient artifact from a secret civilization of Supers. As Kat and Skye struggle against inner demons, rekindling relationships, and clues of old traumas connecting to new threats, the possibility of them returning home alive together dwindles.
